that the MCKEOUGH family(from Ireland) lived in/near Kossuth Twp.
The BAUGNIET family(originating in Belgium) resided primarily in the
Mishicot area. I am willing to share what information I have, and am
someone can help me to fill in the blanks. I welcome a response from
anyone who has a connection to any of the above-mentioned surnames.

Dick Barmann BUXBAUM - Am looking for background on Elmer "Al" Buxbaum. Born Nov. 30, 1914 in Cicero, Il. Owned and operated Buxbaum Plumbing in Manitowoc until he retired in 1970. Married Virginia Lusk December 29, 1935 in Chicago. He passed away April 25, 1984 in St. Petersburg, Fla. They had four children - Donald, Robert, Linda, and Stephen. I have information generations of information I am willing to share with anyone researching this line. Debie Blindauer PHELPS - Elnathan (1816-1871) and his wife Lucinda "Lucy" WILSON (1823-c.1869). Both of them were b. in VT; they came to WI from upstate NY sometime after 1856; they were enumerated in Kossuth township in the Census of 1860 (p. 536) and they left WI for Merrick Co. NE sometime before 1867. Elnathan and Lucy had several children who might have attended the local schools: Martha b. 1843, Jane 1845, Ada 1847, William 1849 (my great-grandfather), Ann "Eliza" 1853, Rosalia "Rose" 1856, Mary 1858, Abraham Lincoln "Lincoln" 1861, and Carrie 1863. Only the last two are known to have been b. in WI. I find no record of Elnathan recording a homestead in Manitowoc, and since his occupation in the 1850 Census was "farm hand," there's no reason to think that he arrived in WI with even the small amount of cash needed to stake a claim. FISCHER. Frederick WILDE was born 14 Sept. 1828 Mecklenburg and
Caroline FISCHER: FISHER was born ca 1838 Prussia. They were married
o August 1858 Manitowoc Co. WI. They may have lived in Fond du Lac
ca 1861 and near Waupun WI. Moved on to Nebraska. Children were
