Two Olympian Brothers
"The
two Olympian brothers, John and Ben Peterson,
grew up in the rural Cumberland area.
They
attended Comstock school and graduated from Cumberland High School. They
received
many
honors in the sport of wrestling while in high school and university but
came into
international
prominence in the 1972 Olympics, where Ben captured a gold medal in the
198-pound
class and John a silver medal in the 181-pound class."
