Funeral of Mrs. Pierce
The funeral of Mrs. Charles Pierce was held in the Lyons church on Sunday morning. The services were conducted by G.A. Briggs and the musical numbers were given by Mr. Briggs, Miss Mayme Shaw, Mrs. Lee Cleveland and C.A. Melzl, with Mis Nettie Kimball at the organ. Those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Byrd Pierce, Mauston, and Eugene Stalker, Elroy. The bearers were John Howard, Charles Smith, Byrd Pierce and three sons, Earl, Will and Charles Pierce. interment in Excelsior.
