OBITUARY 
VIVIAN P. HOWARD 
 
BARABOO - Vivian P. Howard, age 79, of Baraboo passed away Saturday, May 22, 1993 at Jefferson Meadows Care Center. 
 
Mrs. Howard, the daughter of Elmer and Laura (VanPatton) Ferson, was born Dec. 3, 1913 in Fond du Lac, Wis. 
 
She was married to Roger Howard on Dec. 27, 1941 in the Little Brown Church in Iowa. 
 
Vivian was a very active member of the West Baraboo Church of God and their Ladies Group and had participated in the founding of the church. She was a life member of the DAV, and a member of the Church Women United. Mrs. Howard did a lot of volunteer work, especially for Jefferson Meadows Care Center and St. Claire Hospital. She had taken care of the elderly for the past several years. 
 
She is survived by her husband, Roger Howard of Baraboo; four sons, Lanny (Sharyn) Howard of New London, Wis., Sam (Mary) Howard of Baraboo, Douglas (Betty) Howard of River Falls, Wis. and Ron Howard of Baraboo; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Mayhew of Baraboo and other relatives and friends. 
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister. 
 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 24 1993 at the West Baraboo Church of God with Pastor Marvin Capps officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
