OBITUARY 
PHILLIP HOWARD 
 
Phillip P. Howard, 70 died Monday afternoon at St. Clare Hospital where he was confined for seven days after suffering a stroke at his home in Baraboo. 
 
Mr. (Shorty) Howard was born on Sept. 9, 1906 in Baraboo and was a lifelong Baraboo resident. He was employed by Island Woolen Mills and Badger Ordnance before his retirement. 
 
His is survived by two brothers, Roger S. of Baraboo, and George P. of Madison. 
 
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hanson Funeral Home with Rev. John Hanchett of the First Congregational Church officiating. 
 
Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. 
 
Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
