BARABOO NEWS REPUBLIC Saturday, 18 April 1987, page 5 GEORGE C. GALL Mr. George C. Gall, age 98, of Baraboo, passed away Friday, April 17, 1987 at the Jefferson Meadows Care Center. Mr. Gall was born on April 22, 1888 in the North Freedom area. He was married to the former Minnie Kowalke on Sept. 18, 1912 in the Township of Westfield. He was employed as a blacksmith for many years and also worked for the Chicago and NorthWest Car Shops in Baraboo. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. Survivors include on daughter, Leola Krey of Reedsburg; one son, Harold (Esther) Gall of Madison; three grandchildren, Dr. Randall Gall of LaCrosse, Atty. Steven Gall of Hot Sulfur Springs, Colo., and medical technologist, Rogene Gall of Elm Grove; two great grandchildren, Alexander and Elizabeth Gall; one sister, Mrs. Olga Goestch of Baraboo; two brothers, Edward and Walter, both of Baraboo; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, three brothers, and his wife, Minnie. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 20, at 2 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, Pastor Charles Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
