WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL - Monday, May 22, 2000 DISCHLER, BRYDA BELLE Bryda Belle Dischler, age 89, of Dodgeville, formerly of Sauk City, died on Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Bloomfield Manor, following a long illness. The former Bryda Tremaine was born on May 29, 1910, in Eden Township to William Henry and Minnie Mabel (Rule) Tremaine. She married Roman "Jack" Dischler of Spring Green on April 14, 1934. The couple lived in the Hyde area until moving to Sauk City in 1961. Jack preceded her in death on February 1, 1978. She was also preceded in death by; a brother, Merrill Tremaine; and three sisters, Verna Pengilly, Estelle Cathcart, and her sister, Barbara Buchner. Bryda is survived by two daughters, Yvonne (David) Danhouser, and Marlene (Walter) Wendhausen, both of Mineral Point; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews; and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2000 at the Luloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home, Dodgeville. Penny Roth will officiate with burial in the Hyde Cemetery near Ridgeway.
