Baraboo News Republic 11 December, 1989, page 11 MAMIE C. CLEVELAND OBITUARY BARABOO - Mamie C. Cleveland, age 94, of Baraboo, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 1989 at the Continental Manor Nursing Home in Wisconsin Dells. Mrs. Cleveland, the former Mamie (Beardsley) Bothell, was born in Fairfield township the daughter of the late Hiram and Allen (Quinlan) Beardsley. She was married on March 7, 1925 to F. Lee Cleveland. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the American Legion Gold Star Wives and the American War Mothers. She was survived by one son, Don (Jean) Cleveland, Montello; one daughter, Joyce (Phillip) Dorow, Wisconsin Dells; one step-son, Walter (Cil) Cleveland, Sheboygan, one step-daughter, Gladys (Leo) Frazer, Baraboo; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leta Green and Erna Lehan, Landcaster, Calif. and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Bothell, in 1922, and her second husband, F. Lee Cleveland, in 1962; one son, William Bothell; a grandson, Jim Bothell; one brother, Floyd Beardsley, and one sister, Hazel Powell. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 1989, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Clyde Cross officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, and on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church.
