Richland Center City Auditorium, now known as the Richland County Performing
Arts Center.
It was originally built in 1912–1913 and designed by architect
Percy Bentley in a “modernized” Classical style. The hall has hosted everything
from civic events to theatrical performances and is deeply tied to the town’s
cultural and political history—especially the women’s suffrage movement. In
fact, it was the Richland Center Woman’s Club that helped bring the auditorium
to life, and Susan B. Anthony even visited the town in 1886

Richland County Courthouse, built in 1889 and still standing as a proud symbol
of Richland Center’s civic heritage.
Its striking architecture—especially the
tower with the steeply pitched roof and ornate brickwork—reflects the late
19th-century design trends that swept through Wisconsin during a period of rapid
growth. As the county seat, this courthouse has long been the center of legal
and governmental activity in the region.

Park Hotel, a historic landmark in Richland Center, Wisconsin
Built in the
early 20th century, it served as a central hub for travelers and locals alike.
The building’s distinctive corner tower, brick façade, and vintage signage—like
the “BUS DEPOT” and “AIR CONDITIONED” signs—reflect its role during the golden
age of American road travel. It wasn’t just a place to stay; it was a social
gathering spot, especially when bus travel was booming.
