John Schramka

John Schramka, formerly a contractor and builder in Port Washington and owner ofa brickyard near South Bluff, died at 1:40 o'clock Sunday morning at the age of sixty-sevenyears. He was born in Poland and came to America when a young man.

He is survived by six children, Frank and Wallie, of Chicago; and Mrs. Anna Landowski,Mrs. Helen Wanta, Mrs. Frances Wasilewski, and Mrs. Pearl Kasedowski, of Milwaukee. Ten grandchildren also remain. Mrs. Schramka died many years ago. The funeralwas held Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the residence of his dauther, Mrs.Wasilewski, Locust street, Milwaukee, to St. Elizabeth's church. Burial was in HolyCross cemetery.

He built a large number of buildings in Port Washington, including St. John's Lutheranchurch. Until his death, he owned the business on Second Pier street south of theharbor.
