Mrs. Rose Retzer, 79, of 743 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington, died in her sleep early Friday at her home.

The former Rose Ferber, she was born at Waubeka on June 11, 1883, and was married to Lawurnce Retzer at Waubeka on Oct. 14, 1902. They settled in Port Washington where her husband was employed at the Wisconsin Chair Co., and later worked for the City of Port Washington. He died May 10, 1936.

Mrs. Retzer was a member of the Christian Mothers Society and Daughters of Isabella at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington.

Surviving are one son, Harold, Port Washington; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Edgar Braun, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Poole Funeral Home in Port Washington after 2 p.m. Sunday.
