Mr. John PAUTZ died at the home of his son, Carl, in town Cedarburg on Monday morning at 9:45 o'clock after a brief illness, age 72 years. Deceased was born on July 26, 1854 in Germany, and was married to Miss Bertha RADISKE on December 1, 1876. They came here in 1892 and made their home in Cedarburg. His wife died twenty years ago. Mr. PAUTZ was always quite well, but Sunday, when the family called him for dinner, they found him in bed dangerously ill with a stroke of paralysis. He died Monday morning. He made his home with his son, Carl, since the death of his wife, and he is the only surviving child. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence to Immanuel church with interment in Immanuel cemetery. Rev. W. H. BEHRENS will officiate.
