"Aged Resident Answers Summons. Mrs. Gustave Merzdorf, 91, a resident of the town of Fredonia for the past 67 years, died early Monday at her farm home near Waubeka. She was the former Miss Mathilda Oehme. Survivors include three sons, Herman, West Bend, Paul, Adell, and Albert at home; two daughters, Mrs.Emma Luck, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Martha Lehmkuhl, Saukville; one sister, Mrs. Reinhold Wenzel, Waubeka, and a brother, Robert Oehme, Fredonia. Her husband preceded her in death in 1936. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in St. John’s Lutheran church at Fredonia, with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. R. Jagow, pastor, conducted the services in the church and at the grave.

Her husband passed away in 1936.Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock on Wednesday in St. John’s Lutheran churchat Fredonia. Interment was in the parish cemetery."
