Ozaukee Obituary Mrs. Selma Maechtle

Mrs. Selma Maechtle, 78, of Waubeka, widow of Arthur, diedearly today at her home of an apparent heart attack.

The former Selma Wegner was born March 3, 1895 in Port Washington, a daughter ofthe late Fred and Lena Moelk Wegner.

She was married to Mr. Maechtle on Sept. 19, 1919, in Port.

The couple operated the Maechtle Store at Waubeka since 1940. He died Oct. 9, 1961.

She was a lifelong member of the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Port Washington.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph and George, both of Waubeka and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Grand Avenue United MethodistChurch, the Rev. Thomas Garnhart, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the UnionCemetery, Port Washington.

Friends may call at the Poole Funeral Home, Port, after 4 p.m., Wednesday and atthe church Thursday from noon until the time of services.
