Ozaukee Obituary Frank Maechtle

Frank Maechtle, 80, died at about 7:30 a.m. Monday at hishome after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Maechtle was born in the Town of Saukville on Aug. 13, 1878, and was marriedto Emma Hansman at Milwaukee on Sept. 30, 1911. They settled on a farm in the Townof Port Washington which they operated until about 10 years ago when they retiredto the city of Port Washington. Mrs. Maechtle died four years ago.

Survivors are one son, Harvey, on the homestead; two daughters, Miss Helen Maechtle,at home, and Mrs. Albert (Janet) Laubenstein, Town of Port Washington; six grandchildren;one sister, Mrs. Ed (Dora) Runkel, Sr., Port Washington, and three brothers, Ed ofMilwaukee, Monroe and Walter Maechtle, Town of Port Washington. Two sisters and onebrother preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Grand Ave. E.U.B. Church, a class leader and a Sunday Schoolteacher and superintendent for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grand Ave. Church by theRev. Leslie Pardun, pastor, with interment at the Port Washington Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Horn Funeral Home from 3 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday,then at the church until the time of services.
