Robert L. Hrdlicka, 40, of 1215 Port View Dr., Port Washington, died of cancer Monday in St. Mary Hospital, Milwaukee.

Mr. Hrdlicka, a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, had moved to Port Washington from Dayton, Oh, in 1971. He had been in service 20 years.

A native of Chicago, he was born Dec. 29, 1933, a son of the late Otto and Helen Kulczynski Hrdlicka.

His marriage to Mary Lou Soeffgen, also of Chicago, took place there Feb. 11, 1956.

He was a member of the Military Benefit Association and Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post 82 in Port Washington.

Survivors are his widow; a daughter, Theresa, and two sons, Michael and Lawrence, all at home, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Richter, Chicago.

The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary Catholic Church, Port Washington, with the Rev. Roland P. Glass, pastor, celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the Poole Funeral Home in Port after 5 p.m. today. A parish vigil will be held there at 8 this evening.
