John B. Dondlinger

John B. Dondlinger, 73, a life-long resident of the town of Belgium, died early today at his home in Belgium after a lingering illness.

He was born in the township on Feb. 4, 1876, and was married to Kathryn Weyker on Feb. 4, 1901. He served as village assessor until his retirement last year.

Mr. Dondlinger was a member of St. Mary's church, Lake Church, and was affiliated with the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Holy Name society of the parish.

Survivors are the widow; two sons, Aloys, Milwaukee, and Vincent, Belgium; four grandchildren; one brother, Peter, Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Kate Thomas, Belgium, and Mrs. Anna Thomas, Chicago.

Four brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's church at Lake Church. The Rev. Rayner Hausmann, pastor, will celebrant the requiem high mass, and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Dondlinger residence in the village of Belgium from late Saturday afternoon until the time of the services.
