August Wedding Solemnized in Immanuel Luth. Church

One of the lovliest of Ozaukee County's August wedding ceremonies, and one that is of cordial, neighborly interest to Cedarburg and Brown Deer folks, was solemnized in Imman. Lutheran church at high noon, Thursday, August eleventh.

The beautiful English service of this picturesque old stone church was used to make man and wife of Mr. Oscar CLAUSING, of Brown Deer, and Miss Violet KLUEBER of Cedarburg. Reverned BEHRENS officiating.

The bride is one of the most popular local young women in social and business circles, and as chief operator of the Wisconsin Telephone Company, has made hosts of friends by her courtesy and efficient service. The phone subscribers have known Miss KLUEBER as "the girl with the golden voice" during her work as chief operator here, this past five years.

The groom is a splended young business man of Brown Deer, connecting an undertaking and furniture establishment.

During the past few weeks, numerous social affairs have been arranged in honor of the popular couple -- a Beach party last Thursday at the Port Beach participated in by the employees of the Port Washington, Grafton, Freistadt and Cedarburg telephone companies -- a shower at the local office by the Cedarburg girl employees -- and another at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. NOSKE.

Miss KLUEBER was married in a white satin gown, lace trimmed, chiffon veil of sweeping length -- and carried a bridal bouquet of roses. Her bridesmaids were the Misses Alinda MUELLER gowned in blue georgette, and the bride's niece, Roma MIELKE, in yellow georgette, both wearing colonial bouquets.

The groomsmen were Mr. Orlando NIEMAN and Mr. Ben LAU of Gary, Ind.

The altars were bowers of palms and ferns. Invitations were sent to the close relatives of both families, but the spacious church was thrown open to all other friends who desired to witness the wedding ceremonies.

Dinner at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred KLUEBER, at 35 Hilbert street, followed the ceremony -- the young associates of Miss KLUEBER at the telephone office, serving.

Many practical and artistic gifts testified to the loving esteem for this young couple in this county. After a motor trip to Detroit, Chicago and Streator, Illinois, they will go to housekeeping next door to the CLAUSING place of business in Brown Deer, followed by the best wishes of many friends for a long and happy married life.
