John Witcpalek and wife Barbara [Nowak] came to America from
Bohemia around
1860-62. John settled in the southeast quarter of Lincoln Twsp and died in
1916 at 84. To my knowledge the family is the only Witcpalek's in the U.S.
and most of the family is still in the area. The photo is late
1890's of
John, Barbara and their adult children.
