The Randall Family
Erie County, Pennsylvania
contributed many pioneers to the settlement of the Midwest; among these
were Alcy Haanen Randall and her family of 5 sons and 1 daughter. Her
husband, Swift Randall, a native of Rhode Island, had been one of the
early settlers of Erie County, Pennsylvania. His death had taken place
some years before the family's exodus to Wisconsin.

Warren Randall, the oldest, married Maria
Groesbeck.
Elcy Randall, the sister, married M. Stearns. Their
three children are dead: Alice died in the spring of 1947. Following her
death the farm, which had been owned by the Stearns family for 94 years,
passed to another owner.
Joshua Randall married
Electra Potter. When their oldest child was six weeks old, they moved to
Minnesota, going in a covered wagon.

Wesley Randall, who followed his brother to Minnesota,
married Clarissa Taylor and their four children were born there.
