These are my great-grandparents, Wilhelmine & Wilhelm Kuehl, with one of their grandchildren. The child may be Sylvia Flaherty who was the eldest child of Bertha (Kuehl) & John Flaherty.  The child looks to be about 2 and a half, which would have been Sylvia's age when Bertha gave birth to twins (October 1904) and may have been why Wilhelm & Wilhelmine would have made a trip from Dunn County to Ashland.  This is simply a guess, it may be one of Bertha & John's children born after the twins.

Wilhelm & Wilhelmine moved from Two Rivers, Manitowoc County to rural Dunn County (near Elmwood) sometime between February of 1884 (when my Grandpa was born) and October of 1885. (when his younger brother was born)

Photo was found in box of photos at the home of submitter's great uncle in Juneau County, Wisconsin. It was taken by Ashland photographer S. W. Bailey. Can anyone identify the subject of the photo? Submitted by Jackie Hufschmid.
